JACQUEMUS
Simon Porte was born in French Provence, into a peasant family; has always felt fashion as a language to explain himself. After a year he left the fashion school he attended in Paris to devote himself to his collection; will dedicate to pay homage to his roots by calling the brand with his mother's maiden name: Jaquemus. The meeting of Adrian Joffe (Dover Street Market) will be crucial, with whom he will undertake a lucky partnership that will lead him to the pinnacle of the fashion system. Simon is a contemporary designer, each collection stems from a story, almost like a game where defined silhouettes contrast with oversize details, natural palettes with vibrant colors. His fashion is influenced by the nineties, a mix of sensuality,genuineness and pop authenticity.
